Get outside and get those boots dirty!

Great Appalachian Valley Conservation Corps is working in partnership with Shenandoah National Park on several upcoming volunteer conservation projects. Our goal is to engage the local community in outdoor stewardship activities – trail work, campground improvements, and much more. We want to help develop future stewards of our public lands, building stronger connections between local communities, young people and the natural world.

All volunteers will receive a park fee waiver with complimentary access to the park for the day!

Join us on Saturday, September 29 from 9 am to 3 pm for a day of trail work, campground improvement, restoration, and more as we get outdoors and support the Park! We’ll be meeting at Mathews Arm Campground and working in the area – just bring plenty of water, lunch/snacks for the day, and a pair of boots or closed toe shoes.

To RSVP, email michelle@conservationlegacy.org
