Partner

The impactful programs that Appalachian Conservation Corps operates are completed in collaboration with many incredible partners. Our project partners include organizations and land management agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. Additionally, generous supporting partners provide various resources from financial support to in-kind contributions. Together, we continue to make a positive impact.

PARTNER WITH US

Appalachian Conservation Corps (ACC) works to accomplish critical conservation projects while providing young adults an opportunity to learn about land management issues and challenges. Partnering becomes a win/win situation for the community, for members, and for land managers, all while the project partners attain project goals and complete important work.

Project Partners

ACC’s programming includes young adult crews, youth crews, and individual placement interns who can complete a wide variety of projects for our partners. Many of our partnerships are long-term and ongoing as partners continue to identify needs that can be met through our programming.

ACC currently has an invitation for bid for the North River Trails Maintenance Project, a project in partnership with the United States Forest Service (USFS) with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration’s Recreational Trails program via the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation to improve and enhance shared use backcountry trails in the North River Ranger District. You can find the bid submission package and project details here.

Support Opportunities

Generous funders and supporting partners make it possible for ACC to operate programs that empower individuals to positively impact their lives, their communities and the environment. Through grant support, program sponsorship, collaborative marketing, or gear support, our funders and supporting partners are investing in the future of their communities and the environment.
